North Fork Siuslaw Campground - Siuslaw River, Oregon

Submitted by a user:  This used to be a decent campground decades ago, mainly used by locals, now it is really not worth trying to camp here. Really only 5 true campsites here, and only 2 sites are even worth camping in, and these are usually taken. Over the years it has become pretty sketchy, with many “long term” campers staking out here (homeless??), and it is always a prime late night party spot for many locals, complete with loud music and drive-thrus at all hours of big trucks and rowdy partiers. Often you will find garbage left from previous campers, and the toilet out of paper, etc. Given the seclusion of the campground, it’s really not worth the long drive given all the negatives.
