Campfire Season is Back

It’s official! After a long, hot, and dry summer you can finally kick back and enjoy the glow of a warm campfire. The recent rain has prompted the Forest Service to lift many of the campfire restrictions in the Pacific Northwest’s national forests.

Depending on the region you are visiting there may be restrictions still in place so check with the proper authorities before assuming you can roast your s’mores.

Mt Hood National Forest has lifted campfire bans as of Thursday, September 23rd along with Willamette National Forest, and the Siuslaw National Forest.
