2022 is here and with it comes a new law that will charge out-of-state tourists more to spend the night in Oregon. Senate Bill 794 means a 25% increase in camping costs for out of state tourists staying in a campsite with hookups including electrical and sewage. A hookup site for an Oregon resident typically costs between $25 and $40 but an out-of-state tourist could expect to pay between $30 and $50.
If you are camping in a traditional campsite or yurt you will not see an increase in fees.
